Description: The Website Regions/Sub-Regions define how regional information is divided up on the DOC website (www.doc.govt.nz). They reflect how website users view New Zealand rather than exactly matching DOC's structure and will not be updated if DOC's structure changes.The Website Regions layer will help DOC staff locate web content (pages about sites, facilities, events etc) within the regional structure of the website. The layer is used within the DOCGIS internet/intranet map viewer. The Regions share some boundaries and names with Conservancies and the Sub-regions with Areas but neither will change if these DOC boundaries change in the future. The Sub-Regions are only used in the Parks & recreation section.
